Prior to launching The Whoopie Pi Queen in the summer of 2021, I spent more than 15 years, creating, designing, and more importantly, sampling desserts around the world.  During the 2020 pandemic (while working from home for a year), I spent a lot of time stress baking.  Eventually, I started delivering my baked goods to friends as a way of staying connected and getting my baked goods out of the house.  On the toughest days, I would make my deliveries and immediately feel joyful for the happiness my treats brought to friends. This led me to leave the public school system where I spent the last 23 years teaching students and coaching teachers. I decided to pursue my first LOVE, baking which encapsulates HARD WORK, CREATIVITY, and a LOVE of GOOD.
